Back at Las Rosas

Our friend joined us immediately

Our second trip to Ensenada we stayed again at Las Rosas.  We asked for our same room, #301 and within minutes of opening our balcony door, “our” sea gull landed there.  (We think since we are more acquainted now we should give him a name.  Randy suggested, Gully.”  Too obvious?)

We were tired the first night so rather than exploring we ate at the restaurant at Las Rosas.  I know I have previously written that I thought their food had seriously missed the mark.  Well, I’m really glad my fatigue won out because the food this time was excellent.  I don’t know if their chef was on vacation last time or if they’ve hired a new chef in the meantime but my shrimp pasta was perfect, the pasta al dente, the shrimp moist and spicy.  Randy’s lamb was tender and moist, roasted perfectly.  More excellent Baja wines….
